Every human is one record, entered once here β crew, supervisors,
contacts and office staff alike. They then appear everywhere they belong: on the
Employees list if they clock in, as an organization's primary contact, in the
Supervisors list and supervisor pickers, and on the crew's Contacts tab. Clocks in β means they punch and get a timesheet β check it for a contractor's
supervisor you're billed hourly for; their wage lives on the Employees row. contact = no login, just a name and number to show where needed.
payroll uses the payroll console. admin can also open this page.
supervisor signs in at /supervisor to approve punches.
Crew contact β shows them (tap-to-dial) on the crew's Contacts tab.
Your company
Everything the crew sees about your farm is set here. The
local crew boss reaches every employee working here, whoever pays them.
Labor contractors
Outside organizations that pay some of your crew. Everything
a crew sees comes from here, so it is set once per contractor rather than on
every employee. Payroll contact β who they call about their cheque. Default crew boss β their boss for injury, attendance and days off. Must be
someone on that payroll, because that is who actually employs them. Local crew boss (on Company info) β who directs the day's work on the farm,
whoever pays them.
Naming someone here is also what makes them an approver for those people.
Defaults
β
New sign-ups start at the default wage. Commission % is the
starting rate for new contractors. Work week start sets which day sits on
top of My Hours on everyone's phone, and it rolls over automatically β
it does not change how pay periods or overtime are calculated.
Pay types β overtime rules
Each employee is assigned a pay type below β their timesheet OT
math uses that type's thresholds. A pay type in use can't be deleted.
Weekly schedules
Each employee is assigned a schedule below; their phone shows that
one. Leave a day's cells blank for a day off. Times are plain text, e.g. "6:00 AM".
Punch zones β where they may clock in
Draw a polygon around each place the crew is allowed to punch β the
shop, each ranch, the yard. Click Draw a new zone, click points around the
area, then click the first point again to close it and give it a name. Drag a shape's
corners to adjust; changes save when you click Save shape.
Punches are stamped with the zone they fell in. A punch with GPS that lands in
no zone is flagged outside on the timesheet, and payroll can tap π to see
exactly where it was. If there are no zones at all, nothing is flagged.
Emergency info β shown in the crew's phone app
β
The crew's Emergency tab shows (English & Spanish, offline-capable):
1. First call 911 Β· 2. Then call your supervisor (from each employee's
assignment, tap-to-dial) Β· 3. This medical facility with tap-to-dial β and a
map πΊ button.
